Paris, Part One

There are so many amazing things about Paris.  The obvious things: The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre Dame, etc…but so far, on day 4 of our trip, the thing I have enjoyed most is simply the family friendliness of the city.  Despite the chilly weather, we’ve been metroing and walking everywhere.  It is easy to navigate the streets with little ones and a stroller and it isn’t too crowded so you can keep track of everyone without worrying.  Yesterday, on Christmas Day, we took the kids out for a walk in the afternoon.  The kids borrowed the scooters in the apartment and zoomed up and down block after block.  They careened around Luxembourg Gardens, and we stopped at two separate parks for the kids to play in.    Stella watched the ducks for almost twenty minutes and we stopped and bought a dozen clementines for the kids to snack on.  Touring the city is great, but so far just enjoying our “arrondissement” has been the best!ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage
